From Singapore's dancefloors to clubs and radio platforms across Europe, GUMGO
continues to build a distinct cross-border presence.

Oslated's Special Mix Series, GUMGO is a vinyl-focused selector whose sound was
shaped long before she ever touched a turntable. For her, vinyl is about selection.
Good music, a good dancefloor and happy moments are never limited by equipment.
Trained in samulnori, a Korean traditional percussion band, from the age of nine,
she spent her childhood inside repetition and resonance: cyclical rhythms played on
the janggu drum, built to entrance rather than perform. That grammar never left.
Today it drives sets built on heavy bass, minimal synths, and continuous grooves
that hold a dancefloor in motion; dark, hypnotic, and slightly eerie, pulling the
floor into SAMADHI, a state of deep absorption. Less a performance than a release.
Since her 2024 debut in Singapore she has carried her records out of the city and
across Asia and Europe — HÖR Berlin, Faust Seoul, Headquarters and RASA Singapore,
Output Busan, Bar Temp Bangkok for an all-night set, and local anchors like Hope
Records Bali and Studio Stereo Barcelona. She also hosts her own parties in Seoul
and Singapore: warm, intimate nights that read as the flip side of her dark sets.
Now relocating to Barcelona, GUMGO enters her next chapter in Europe, with her
debut EP planned for 2027.
